Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Electrical Systems Specialist on a contract basis to support a global engineering services leader. The role focuses on field‑based installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems across industrial and commercial sites while ensuring strict safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics to identify system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute upgrades, repairs, and other field operations.
• Maintain adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations during all activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Hands‑on use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers.
