Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Systems Specialist to join a global engineering services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to support field operations and system upgrades across multiple client sites while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute field operations for system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements during all field activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial settings using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
