Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis for a global engineering services leader. The role involves managing electrical system installations, performing field diagnostics, and ensuring safety compliance across industrial and commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure all field activities comply with NFPA 70E, OSHA and local electrical safety regulations.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA and relevant local safety standards.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical testing tools and willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
