Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis for a global engineering services leader. The role involves overseeing electrical system installations, performing diagnostics, and ensuring safety compliance across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute field operations for system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements during all field activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial settings using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA.

Required skills

• Electrical system diagnostics
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards
• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers
