Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis for a global engineering services leader. The specialist will manage electrical system installations, conduct field inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards across industrial and commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs in the field.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70E, OSHA and local electrical safety regulations.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites and stay overnight when required.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Hands‑on use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and thermal imagers.
