Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis for a global engineering services leader. The role focuses on managing and troubleshooting electrical installations across multiple industrial and commercial sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute field operations for system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements such as NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
