Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting a global engineering services leader. The role focuses on overseeing electrical system installations, field operations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to pinpoint malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute upgrades, repairs, and other field operations.
• Maintain strict adherence to electrical codes, NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and local safety requirements during all activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial environments using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to travel to client locations, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Electrical system diagnostics
• Interpretation of electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards
• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and thermal imagers
