Electrical Technician (Contract, Fresh DAE)

About the role

Avanceon, a provider of industrial automation and fuelling solutions, is hiring fresh DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) graduates on a contract basis for its Fuelling Solutions department in Karachi. The role suits technically sound, hardworking DAE graduates who want practical field experience and hands-on technical skills in industrial electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, wiring and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment at sites.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting of fuel dispensing and control systems.
• Help with panel wiring, cable laying, termination and basic circuit testing.
• Use basic electrical tools and testing instruments such as a multimeter and clamp meter.
• Assist senior engineers and technicians in routine site and workshop activities.
• Prepare daily work reports and maintain service and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Travel to project and customer sites as required.

Required profile

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits and components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn fault analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates from Karachi are encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
