Service Manager - Solar Energy

About the role

A technically strong, customer-focused Service Manager is sought to lead after-sales support, technical troubleshooting and service operations for a solar energy business in Pakistan. The role is key to keeping customers satisfied, supporting distributor partners and helping the company scale its residential and C&I solar solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead after-sales service operations in Pakistan, including warranty management, technical support and on-site service coordination.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for distributor partners, giving product training, installation guidance and troubleshooting help.
• Build and run a local service network of sub-dealers, technicians and third-party service providers.
• Work with the Sales Manager and Account Managers to solve technical issues affecting deal closure or project commissioning.
• Monitor service KPIs such as response time, first-time fix rate and customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with HQ engineering and logistics teams on spare parts planning, RMA processes and product feedback.
• Help set up a local entity or office in Dubai or Pakistan in line with local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related technical field.
• 4-6 years of experience in solar PV service or technical support, preferably in Pakistan or South Asia.
• Proven experience with distributors, EPCs or installers in the solar industry (residential and/or C&I).
• Ability to travel frequently within Pakistan and occasionally to the MEA region.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of solar inverters, battery storage systems and balance-of-system components.
• Excellent English communication; Urdu and/or regional languages highly desirable.
