Electronic Technician

About the role

The Electronic Technician will join Think Tech Engineering’s engineering services team in Lahore, working full‑time on‑site to assemble, install, test and maintain a variety of electronic equipment and systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation through fault diagnosis, component‑level repairs and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install and commission electronic devices according to technical specifications.
• Diagnose faults, perform component‑level repairs and conduct preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and wiring drawings.
• Use test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform precise soldering and rework on PCBs and wiring assemblies.
• Document work performed and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver projects on schedule and to quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in electronics technology and electrical safety practices.
• Hands‑on soldering experience for component installation, replacement and rework.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic systems with multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment, including preventive and corrective tasks.
• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and safety‑focused attitude.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
