Embedded Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Embedded/FPGA Engineer to join our fast‑moving engineering team. The role involves creating innovative embedded solutions, collaborating across functions, and ensuring product reliability from concept to validation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded systems for diverse applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Write efficient, maintainable code in C/C++ and related languages.
• Design and implement FPGA solutions using Verilog.
• Develop and optimise applications on microcontrollers, including RTOS integration.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Conduct system integration and validation testing to guarantee reliability.
• Document design processes, test results, and user manuals.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design, FPGA development, and microcontroller applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming
• Verilog for FPGA design
• Microcontroller development (including RTOS)
• Hardware interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART
• Use of development tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
• Familiarity with wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi)
• Linux‑based embedded systems and Yocto Project
• Agile development methodologies
