English Curriculum Developer

About the role

FunFox Program is seeking a passionate and innovative Curriculum Developer to design and refine curriculum content that aligns with our educational goals and pedagogical philosophy. You will shape learning experiences for young students across Australia while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality curriculum content (worksheets and presentations) aligned with NSW educational standards and the FunFox Way.
• Create and refine lesson plans incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to gather feedback, assess curriculum effectiveness, and implement adjustments.
• Teach up to 5 classes weekly to observe student engagement and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in training teachers on new curriculum materials and instructional strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, TESOL, TEFL, English Literature, Curriculum Development, Creative Writing, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 8+ years of proven experience creating and implementing curriculum for primary school students, focusing on English Language Arts.
• Direct teaching or interactive experience with children in an educational setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and stakeholders.
• Passion for curriculum development and enhancing educational experiences of young learners.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting new teaching tools and technologies.
