English Language Instructor

About the role

The English Language Instructor will deliver learner‑centered, goal‑oriented instruction using the Berlitz Method. You will create a motivating classroom environment that helps customers achieve their language objectives across all proficiency levels.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in line with the Berlitz Learning Cycle for beginners, intermediate and advanced students, both in group settings and private sessions.
• Integrate appropriate technology into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
• Manage learner progress, record strengths and weaknesses, and provide timely feedback.
• Conduct placements, level‑checks, tests and produce detailed reports.
• Promote language centre events and maintain accurate administrative records.
• Communicate schedule issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in professional development workshops and corporate training activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 16 years of education or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in the target language.
• Willingness to be observed, evaluated and provide self‑assessment feedback.
• Commitment to Berlitz International and local Codes of Conduct.
• Ability to travel to client locations as required.
