ESG Expert – Group Strategy (HQ)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated ESG Expert to join our Group Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) team. Based in Islamabad, you will support the Dubai and Islamabad ESG teams in executing the 2026‑2028 ESG strategy, handling research, analysis, reporting and coordination across key initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and tracking of the 2026‑2028 ESG strategy roadmap.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on ESG trends, peer performance, ratings methodologies and regulatory developments.
• Assist ESG reporting processes, including data collection, validation and alignment with global standards.
• Ensure compliance with evolving ESG regulations and disclosure requirements across markets.
• Analyse ESG rating frameworks, identify performance gaps and support improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the Integrated Annual Report by drafting ESG content and aligning disclosures.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations to position ESG as a value driver.
• Consolidate ESG data from internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Provide coordination support for ESG governance forums, including agenda setting and documentation.
• Help build internal ESG knowledge and support technical analysis.

Required profile

• Strong project‑management abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Solid research and analytical capabilities.
• Good understanding of evolving ESG regulatory requirements and ability to interpret them.
• Experience coordinating data collection and working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Motivated, dedicated and able to stay abreast of emerging regulatory developments.
