Exchange & Cloud Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Exchange & Cloud Architect to design, manage, and secure a hybrid messaging environment that combines Exchange Server 2019 on‑premises with Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. The role will lead migration projects and support broader cloud, server, virtualization, security, and backup initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration.
• Plan and execute Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects, including mailbox migration and cut‑over.
• Manage identity and directory services such as Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux server environments, including Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Implement and maintain email security, WAF, SSL/TLS, and related security controls.
• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for messaging and infrastructure systems.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues across messaging and cloud environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Support broader cloud initiatives on Azure with awareness of AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in Microsoft messaging, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Exchange Server 2019 administration and hybrid deployments.
• Proven track record leading Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure, and security certifications (e.g., MS‑102, AZ‑104, AZ‑305, etc.).
