Executive IT DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage, maintain, and support our Kubernetes/container platforms and related infrastructure. The role works closely with development, operations, security, and network teams to ensure high availability and secure deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, patching, and health checks.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins, automating build, test, containerization, and deployment.
• Support application deployments across Development, UAT, DR, and Production environments and troubleshoot related issues.
• Manage Linux servers, virtualized resources, networking, DNS, load balancers, and coordinate with infrastructure teams.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK, and analyze logs for performance bottlenecks.
• Enforce Kubernetes security best practices, manage RBAC, secrets, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Develop and test disaster‑recovery procedures for primary and DR clusters.
• Provide L2/L3 support, participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and problem resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of DevOps/System Administration experience, with 2‑3 years hands‑on Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
