External Audit Manager – Rapid Innovation (Pakistan)

About the role

EY’s Rapid Innovation team is seeking an experienced External Audit Manager to lead complex audit engagements across the MENA region, supporting both remote and onsite delivery in Pakistan. You will work closely with senior leaders to shape audit strategies and ensure high‑quality outcomes for our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Define audit strategies and oversee execution of complex audit procedures.
• Ensure compliance with EY policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage financial aspects of engagements and support business development initiatives.
• Identify and assess audit risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Coach and develop junior team members, contributing to recruitment and training programs.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a fully qualified professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or CPA).
• Minimum 7 years of external audit experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role at a reputable firm.
• Proactive, accountable, and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent priority management, resource awareness, and communication skills.
