About the role
Our client, a leading flexible packaging manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Extrusion Manager to lead blown film extrusion operations, improve efficiency, and ensure high product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Manage mono‑layer and multi‑layer (3‑layer/5‑layer) blown film extrusion processes.
- Develop, formulate, and optimise film recipes using resins, additives and masterbatches.
- Troubleshoot extrusion and film quality issues.
- Optimise raw material consumption, reduce waste and boost production efficiency.
- Lead production teams and maintain consistent quality standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Plastics Technology, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in flexible packaging and blown film extrusion.
- Hands‑on expertise in film recipe formulation and optimisation.
- Experience with multi‑layer film structures, polymer processing and cost control.
