Fabric Store Officer

About the role

M. Rafi Sons Garments Industries Pvt Ltd is looking for a Fabric Store Officer to support fabric inventory and store operations at its Lahore location. The role ensures that materials are received, recorded, stored and issued to production in line with operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming fabric, verify quantities and specifications against delivery documents and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory transactions in the relevant registers or system.
• Organize fabric by type, lot and designation, with clear identification and suitable storage conditions.
• Issue fabric to production teams against authorized requests and keep supporting documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or excess inventory and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical stocktakes, investigate variances and support corrective actions.
• Follow store procedures for safe handling, housekeeping and protection of materials.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production and quality teams on material and documentation issues.

Required profile

• Experience in a fabric, textile, garment or general warehouse store environment.
• Understanding of fabric receiving, inspection, identification, storage and issuance procedures.
• Ability to reconcile delivery notes, purchase documents, issue slips and physical stock.
• Strong attention to detail on fabric type, quantity, lot and labeling.
• Clear communication and coordination with production, purchasing and quality teams.
• Integrity, reliability and commitment to safe handling and established store procedures.

Required skills

• Accurate stock recordkeeping and familiarity with inventory registers or inventory management software.
• Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets and data entry.
• Organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and support stock counts.
