Fashion Merchandising & Operations Intern

About the role

Aariy is building a fashion-focused e-commerce platform connecting customers with established and emerging Pakistani fashion brands. It is looking for a curious, proactive and organized intern interested in fashion, brand coordination and business operations, offering hands-on exposure to the fashion industry while working closely with management.

Key responsibilities

• Brand coordination: research and identify Pakistani fashion brands, contact them and coordinate meetings, collect catalogues, pricing and product information, maintain brand databases and support onboarding.
• Fashion research and market visits: research trends, fabrics, designs and collections; visit markets, boutiques and exhibitions with management; explore emerging brands, designers and suppliers; assist in competitor and market research.
• Product sourcing and quality: help find clothing suppliers and manufacturers, collect and review product samples, learn about fabrics, stitching, embroidery and finishing, and check product quality and specifications.
• Shipping and logistics: research local and international couriers, compare rates, delivery times and services, and help maintain shipping and logistics records.
• E-commerce and operations: assist with product information, listings and pricing research, competitor platform research, vendor onboarding and operational documentation, and support management with daily tasks and ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's student or graduate in Fashion Design, Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Genuine interest in fashion and the Pakistani clothing industry.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to join market visits and business meetings, and to do both research and field work.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to conduct research and manage assigned tasks.
