Field Applications Engineer – Molecular Diagnostics (IVD)

About the role

Cepheid is looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to provide on‑site technical and application support for its molecular diagnostic systems across Pakistan. The role combines pre‑sales and post‑sales activities, focusing on customer training, system implementation, assay adoption, troubleshooting and long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and support Cepheid diagnostic instruments at customer sites.
• Assist laboratories during instrument implementation, evaluation, validation and accreditation.
• Deliver training on Cepheid systems, software, reagents, connectivity, workflow and routine operation.
• Monitor installed sites, perform preventive maintenance, modifications, repairs and de‑installations.
• Provide hardware, software, PC, networking and connectivity support as needed.
• Document installations, trainings, support activities and market intelligence according to Cepheid standards.
