Field Coordinator – Newborn Case Registration

About the role

The Field Coordinator will support newborn case registration and tracking across assigned Union Councils in District Keamari. The role ensures that every notified birth is recorded, shared the same day with the UC team, and followed through vaccination, registration and closure.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record birth notifications from mapped providers and share valid notifications with the UC supervisory focal person on the same day.
• Maintain the UC newborn case list and shared tracker as the single source of truth for each Union Council.
• Track each case from notification to closure, coordinating household follow‑up with social mobilizers and birth‑dose vaccination with vaccinators.
• Monitor timeliness of notification, follow‑up, vaccination and registration; flag delayed or unresolved cases and escalate to the District Coordinator.
• Support weekly UC reviews with case summaries and pending‑case lists, and submit monthly UC reports.
• Assist with mapping and orientation of providers and maintain regular contact with them.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Nursing, Public Health or related field.
• 1–2 years of field experience in community health or immunization programmes, preferably within the assigned Union Council.
• Fluency in Urdu and the local community language(s); willingness to travel daily within the assigned area.

Required skills

• Basic MS Office skills for maintaining case lists, trackers and presentation materials.
