Finance Analyst (Financial Reporting & Reconciliation)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Analyst to join our team in Pakistan. The role focuses on maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audit activities, and improving transaction workflows for U.S.‑based retail and fuel clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review, clean, and reconcile daily store transactions, including sales, refunds, fuel purchases, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks, handling journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense categorisation.
• Generate periodic financial reports, spot discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
• Assist internal audits by preparing documentation and resolving transaction‑level queries.
• Collaborate with U.S. finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate accounting standards.
• Identify inefficiencies in transaction workflows and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA/CA, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a BPO or shared‑services environment.
• Experience working with U.S. clients in retail or fuel industries.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑border collaboration.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory reconciliation.
• Knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and retail transaction workflows.
