Finance Associate - Accounting (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Associate specialized in accounting to join a global technology leader. The position is fully remote and focuses on financial reporting, data analysis, and transaction processing for a high‑volume, multi‑regional operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to spot trends, variances and anomalies, delivering actionable insights to senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records, ensuring timely and compliant transaction processing.
• Assist with audits, tax filings and external financial reporting to regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in general ledger accounting and month‑end close procedures.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Detail‑oriented with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations and compliance standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
• Experience in general ledger accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting.
