Finance Intern – Islamabad

About the role

The Finance Intern position is an on‑site, entry‑level role based in Islamabad. It is designed for students or recent graduates to apply academic finance knowledge in a corporate environment while gaining practical experience.

Key responsibilities

• Financial Data Entry – Log daily financial transactions, invoices, and expense receipts into accounting software.
• Reconciliation – Assist in reconciling bank statements, ledgers, and vendor accounts.
• Reporting – Prepare weekly/monthly financial reports, monitor expenditures against project budgets and highlight variances.
• Audit Preparation – Organise financial documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Corporate Support – Help the finance team with administrative tasks, tax documentation preparation and payroll processing support.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, BBA or a related field.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, financial functions, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with standard accounting software.
