Finance Manager

About the role

The Manager Finance is responsible for leading the company's finance function by providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and overseeing financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury management, taxation, compliance, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance and accounting function, ensuring efficient operations and strong governance.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and other regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash‑flow planning, working‑capital optimization and manage banking relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement, ERP optimisation and automation projects, and develop dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA or ACCA designation (US CPA is a strong asset).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive post‑qualification experience in financial reporting, FP&A, controllership or corporate finance, with at least 2 years leading finance teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, taxation, internal controls and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or QuickBooks Advanced.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Business intelligence tools – Power BI or Tableau.
• ERP system expertise (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks Advanced).
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.
