Finance Officer - Pakistan Office

About the role

Hejaz, an Islamic financial services provider offering SMSFs, managed funds and ETFs, property financing and fintech solutions, is expanding globally and is looking for a Finance Officer for its Pakistan office. The role supports the Finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative work, mainly invoice processing, payments, payroll, reconciliations and keeping accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices and employee expenses
• Check invoices and supporting documents before processing payments
• Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers
• Perform basic bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist with monthly financial closing and reporting
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
• Support the Finance team with general accounting and administrative tasks
• Assist with audit documentation when required

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of accounting or finance experience
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working with an international team across different time zones

Required skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
