Financial Analyst (Compliance and Financial Governance)

About the role

EY is looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial compliance, governance and audit-readiness activities across multiple countries and entities. The role focuses on balance sheet reconciliations, statutory and local content audit requirements and accurate, well-documented compliance records. It suits a detail-oriented finance professional interested in multi-country finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate outstanding items and keep a tracker until closure
• Support external statutory audits by preparing audit-ready schedules, collecting information and maintaining an audit documentation repository
• Prepare documentation for local content audits and certification (e.g., UAE ICV, Qatar ICV, Saudi local content reporting)
• Maintain structured compliance folders and support internal control testing, compliance reviews and process improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, controls or compliance
• Sound understanding of accounting fundamentals; IFRS knowledge preferred
• Ideally: shared service centre or multi-country finance experience, exposure to statutory audits, familiarity with local content frameworks and audit repositories

Required skills

• Practical experience with balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Familiarity with internal controls and documentation management
• Analytical, organizational and communication skills
