Financial Auditor – Immediate Joiner

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team in Islamabad. The role involves performing external audit engagements across multiple industries while ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA and local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external audit assignments in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Assist in planning, fieldwork, and timely completion of audit engagements.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Draft financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).
• Evaluate internal controls, identify improvement areas, and communicate findings to the Audit Manager.
• Conduct substantive and analytical procedures, verify accounting entries and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with client personnel to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
• Help prepare audit reports, management letters and other deliverables while maintaining client confidentiality.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified or finalist, or CA Inter.
• 3–4 years of experience in external audit, preferably with a reputable audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISAs.
• Understanding of internal control systems, risk assessment and audit evidence requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
