Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead daily financial operations, blending strategic planning with hands‑on execution to ensure accuracy, efficiency and regulatory compliance. This role acts as a bridge between finance and business functions, turning data into actionable insights that drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise financial systems and workflows, including Odoo ERP, for accounts payable/receivable, payments and collections.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports such as P&L statements, budgets, forecasts and management information systems (MIS), identifying trends and risks.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, monitor allocations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Supervise and develop accounting/finance teams, provide training to non‑finance staff and enforce compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, logistics, sales and marketing to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.
• Maintain relationships with banks, insurers and other financial institutions to secure necessary capital.
• Offer financial guidance to other departments and stay current with industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Excellent analytical mindset and ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
