Fitness Trainer - Yogi

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Fitness Trainer-Yogi to run its fitness and yoga areas, including the male and female changing areas, according to Six Senses standards. The trainer teaches yoga asanas and fitness classes, keeps the areas clean and safe, and welcomes guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and check the daily operations and supplies of the fitness, yoga and changing areas according to standards.
• Greet guests on entry and exit, explain general procedures, and offer class alternatives for different fitness and yoga levels.
• Plan routines, choose music and movements suited to each participant's capabilities and limitations.
• Teach and demonstrate yoga asanas and the use of fitness equipment.
• Answer calls and queries accurately, and keep equipment clean after each use.
• Explain and enforce safety rules for sports, recreation and exercise equipment.
• Deliver fitness and yoga classes and personal training to Six Senses Spa standards, keeping equipment well maintained and adhering to LQA standards and guest feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in physical education preferred, and at least 2 years' experience in luxury spas and health clubs with proven results.
• Recognized Yoga Instructor certification of at least 500 hours, covering meditation and pranayama, and ideally knowledge of anatomy, physiology and massage therapy.
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.

Required skills

• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Up-to-date knowledge of fitness and wellness trends.
