Forward Deployed Engineer (Enterprise AI Solutions)

About the role

This is a Forward Deployed Engineer role sitting at the intersection of engineering, AI, product and enterprise customers. You work directly with customers to understand complex business and technical problems, build and deploy solutions, integrate AI into real workflows and turn customer feedback into scalable product capabilities. It is not a traditional software engineering role: you move from customer meetings to architecture, prototype and production deployment without waiting for separate teams.

Key responsibilities

• Work with enterprise customers on their technical and business challenges and turn ambiguous requirements into practical solutions.
• Design, build, test and deploy production-grade applications and AI-powered solutions, including prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
• Integrate LLMs, AI agents, APIs, databases and enterprise systems, and build integrations with CRM, ERP, DevOps, cloud, data and collaboration tools.
• Deploy solutions into customer environments, troubleshoot in production and help product teams convert recurring requirements into core features.
• Create reusable frameworks, integrations and accelerators, and take prototypes into production.
• Build applications with modern AI/LLM technologies, including LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, tool calling, evaluation frameworks and orchestration, with monitoring, testing, security and guardrails.
• Build APIs and backend services, work with cloud platforms and modern deployment practices, and evaluate new AI technologies for customer value.

Required profile

• 3-7+ years of professional software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering or a similar technical role.
• Experience building and deploying production applications and working directly with customers or enterprise stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work independently and quickly.
• Preferred: startup experience wearing multiple hats, Fortune 500 / enterprise customer experience, consulting or solutions architecture background, and experience taking prototypes into production.

• Programming in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go or similar.
• APIs, databases, cloud platforms and software architecture.
• Preferred: AI agents, RAG, copilots, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and integration with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft, Jira, GitHub.
