Front Desk Officer

About the role

Aurhom By Royal Inn, a premium boutique hotel in Clifton, Karachi, is looking for a Front Desk Officer. The role provides a welcoming first point of contact for guests, handles check-ins and check-outs, reservations and inquiries, and is a full-time, on-site position based at the hotel front desk.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations and provide a professional first impression to guests
• Handle check-ins and check-outs, reservations and guest inquiries
• Answer phone calls and emails and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
• Maintain accurate guest records and billing
• Address guest requests and concerns promptly and give information on hotel services and local attractions

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or business administration is a plus
• Previous experience in front desk, hospitality or customer-facing roles is preferred
• Detail-oriented, reliable and able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Good spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage

Required skills

• Receptionist duties: check-ins/check-outs, reservations and guest inquiries
• Office administration: record keeping, correspondence and organized front desk documentation
• Operating office equipment and basic hotel management or reservation systems
