Frontend Architect – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Frontend Architect to join a global AI platform team on a remote, contract basis. You will design and build high‑performance user interfaces while collaborating with backend engineers to deliver seamless experiences for AI‑driven applications across finance, healthcare, and engineering domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize responsive frontend solutions using React, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Node.js services and ensure end‑to‑end system reliability.
• Contribute to backend codebases when needed, including work with Python, Java, or .NET.
• Maintain code quality, performance, and scalability across the full stack.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions within a distributed team.
• Translate complex business and domain requirements into technical implementation plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces with React, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of backend development using Node.js and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working remotely in an asynchronous, distributed team environment.
