Frontend Developer (React + Next.js)

About the role

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to own the user experience at STACKONN. You’ll build fast, accessible, and polished interfaces in React/Next.js, working closely with product and design.

Key responsibilities

• Build reusable UI components and feature flows in React/Next.js.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑clean, responsive interfaces.
• Improve performance (Core Web Vitals), loading states, and perceived speed.
• Implement robust state management and clean data‑fetching patterns.
• Ship accessible UI (keyboard navigation, ARIA, contrast, semantics).
• Write frontend tests where it matters (component + basic e2e for key flows).
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts.
• Track and fix UI bugs quickly, and prevent repeat issues with better patterns.
• Maintain a consistent design system and keep the UI scalable.
• Review code and keep frontend standards high (linting, formatting, conventions).

Required profile

• 4–5+ years building production React apps.
• Strong TypeScript and component design skills.
• Solid knowledge of Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG, caching/revalidation, images).
• Strong CSS skills (Tailwind or modern CSS).
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling edge cases.
• Good understanding of performance and accessibility basics.
• Familiarity with Git + PR workflow.
• Based in Lahore (or able to work from Lahore) and comfortable with hybrid work.
• Portfolio or shipped products that prove you can deliver real UI.
