Full Stack Developer (MEAN / PERN)

About the role

Exora AI is looking for an experienced MEAN / PERN Full Stack Developer to design, develop and implement web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, Node.js) and the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The role is full-time and contract-based, based in Islamabad, Pakistan, within a start-up that values a self-managing, adaptable attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn project requirements into technical specifications.
• Build web applications with the MEAN or PERN stack depending on project needs.
• Create RESTful APIs with Express.js and Node.js.
• Use MongoDB or PostgreSQL for data storage, ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval.
• Work with front-end developers to build responsive interfaces with AngularJS or React.js.
• Implement secure user authentication and authorization.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability across devices and browsers.
• Test and debug thoroughly, take part in code reviews and stay up to date with web development trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a MEAN / PERN or Full-Stack Developer with delivered projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Good communication skills and knowledge of web security best practices.

• MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Express.js, Node.js, AngularJS, React.js
• JavaScript and RESTful API design
• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design; Bootstrap or Tailwind is a plus
• Git; server-side templating (EJS, Handlebars) and Angular RxJS and Signals are a plus
• Third-party integrations
