Full Stack Developer (Next.js + Node.js)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join STACKONN’s engineering team in Lahore. You will own production features from clean UI in Next.js/React to reliable APIs in Node.js, focusing on performance, maintainability and rapid shipping. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain web features using Next.js/React with a strong UX and performance mindset.
• Design and implement REST APIs in Node.js, integrating third‑party services such as payments, email and maps.
• Model data and write efficient queries, preferably in PostgreSQL, with MongoDB/Firebase where needed.
• Own features end‑to‑end: planning, implementation, testing, rollout, monitoring and iteration.
• Write clean, readable code with solid error handling and clear documentation.
• Collaborate with design/product to turn Figma mockups into pixel‑clean UI.
• Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines, staging and production environments.
• Debug production issues quickly, perform root‑cause analysis and prevent regressions.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of experience building and shipping web applications in production.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and solid experience with React/Next.js.
• Backend experience with Node.js (Express/Nest) and API design best practices.
• Comfortable with databases, migrations and indexing, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with authentication/authorization (JWT, sessions, RBAC).
• Clear communication skills and ability to explain trade‑offs to stakeholders.
• Based in Lahore and comfortable with hybrid work.
