Full Stack Engineer - Healthcare Applications

About the role

Veridix Pakistan Io is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join its development team in Lahore. The role covers both frontend and backend development of high-quality software, with a focus on healthcare standards and regulations. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to build systems that handle protected health information (PHI) and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python and Django.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Ensure applications meet HL7 and FHIR standards and comply with HIPAA for PHI protection.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, designing schemas, writing efficient queries and optimizing data access.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to turn business requirements into technical specifications.
• Use Git for version control and take part in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software, and implement cloud-based solutions with AWS.
• Keep up with healthcare IT trends and ensure systems are scalable, maintainable and secure.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience.
• A strong academic background in computer science or software engineering.
• Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.
