Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Ambidex Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications, APIs, and AI‑enabled business solutions for its international clients. You will work in a hybrid setting across major Pakistani cities while aligning with US Central Time working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, business, design, and US‑based teams to clarify requirements and technical needs.
• Design and develop responsive web applications, internal platforms, and customer‑facing solutions.
• Build backend APIs, business logic, database integrations, and third‑party service integrations.
• Create reusable frontend components for consistent user experiences.
• Apply software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Optimize performance, reliability, security, and scalability of applications.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend, backend, and production issues.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity while validating generated code.
• Document architecture, APIs, technical decisions, and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of full‑stack web application development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working with distributed, US‑based teams and adhering to US Central Time schedules.

Required skills

• Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL.
• Frontend: React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development.
• UI frameworks: Tailwind CSS, Material UI (or similar).
• Backend: FastAPI, REST APIs, JWT/OAuth authentication, API integration.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Version control: Git.
• Cloud & DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Azure, GCP.
• AI/ML tools (preferred): OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel.
• Automation: n8n, Make, Zapier.
• AI‑assisted development: ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex.
