About the role

Avicenna School is seeking a dedicated Geography and Mathematics Teacher to join its faculty on a full‑time, on‑site basis in Karachi South District. The role involves creating engaging lessons that help students master both subjects while fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Geography and Mathematics.
• Develop and update curriculum aligned with school standards.
• Assess student progress through tests, projects, and formative assessments.
• Provide individualized academic support and feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance instructional methods.
• Participate in school initiatives, extracurricular activities, and professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status with relevant teaching certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Geography, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in both Geography and Mathematics education.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
• Ability to motivate diverse learners and adapt to various learning styles.
