Head of Compliance

About the role

Giant Group, a workforce management platform and solutions provider established in 1992, is hiring a Head of Compliance to lead its new Compliance division, which sits alongside Legal. The role ensures that legal requirements are understood and applied correctly in day-to-day operations, especially for the USA and international Employer of Record, Agent of Record and international payroll services. It is a permanent position based in Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Bridge Legal and Operations, translating legal and regulatory requirements into clear operational terms and keeping policies up to date.
• Own the International Compliance Repository and dashboard, run a monthly AI-assisted monitoring cycle and set up a process for urgent regulatory changes and incidents.
• Run compliance readiness assessments before new countries, states, services or partners go live, and check that providers such as ADP and FlexHR meet compliance obligations.
• Maintain an evidenced compliance position through regular spot checks, gap recording and escalation of overdue actions.
• Manage the business insurance programme, including renewals, claims and policy wording, excluding credit insurance which stays with Finance.
• Lead and develop the Junior Compliance Officer and report regularly to the Group Chief Legal and People Officer.

Required profile

• Ideal: legal background or 5+ years' experience in compliance, legal, risk or regulatory roles working with contracts, policies and insurance wording.
• Essential: practical experience of US employment and payroll compliance across multiple states.
• Advantageous: experience of employment compliance in other countries, ideally in Employer of Record, Agent of Record, international payroll, recruitment or workforce solutions.
• Self-starter who works independently, explains requirements clearly to operational teams and communicates with senior stakeholders and providers.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting insurance policy wording and contracts.
• Comfortable using AI tools and dashboards and checking their outputs critically.

• Salary of PKR 300,000 - 400,000 gross per month plus a 31,000 shift allowance.
