Lead, Compliance and Litigation

About the role

Delivery Hero's foodpanda unit is hiring a Lead, Compliance and Litigation for its Lahore business. The role leads the local legal team, gives strategic legal updates to senior leadership and runs legal risk assessments across operations. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Lahore business team and give senior leadership strategic updates on legal matters
• Conduct legal risk assessments across business operations
• Formulate and manage litigation strategies, oversee external counsel, case progression, cost management and legal outcomes
• Ensure statutory compliance, manage sensitive law enforcement inquiries, develop compliance policies and liaise with regulators and partners
• Draft non-templated agreements and give legal opinions on complex commercial and regulatory matters
• Mentor legal team members, track regulatory changes and ensure consistent application of legal standards

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree required; LLM or relevant post-graduate diploma preferred
• 3 to 5 years after qualification in corporate litigation, regulatory compliance or legal counsel, preferably in a multinational, tech platform or reputable law firm
• Sound understanding of local statutory frameworks and compliance regimes
• Strong leadership, decision-making, stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
