About the role
The Head of Deposits & Customer Value Proposition will steer the strategy, growth and profitability of the bank’s deposit portfolio across Consumer and SME segments. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, the role combines product ownership, commercial management and cross‑functional leadership to expand the bank’s balance‑sheet and customer franchise.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a deposit growth strategy for retail and SME markets, targeting CASA growth, low‑cost deposits and balance deepening.
- Define and manage differentiated customer value propositions for mass retail, emerging affluent, women, youth, freelancers, gig‑economy, merchants and SMEs.
- Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of deposit products (current accounts, savings, term deposits, salary banking, youth/freelancer propositions, SME transactional deposits).
- Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Digital, Marketing, Analytics, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to align product strategy with balance‑sheet and liquidity objectives.
- Lead acquisition, activation and retention initiatives, driving digital adoption and cross‑sell through campaigns and lifecycle marketing.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading deposit product strategy and portfolio management in a bank.
- Strong understanding of Consumer and SME banking segments.
- Ability to work across digital, risk, treasury and operations functions.
- Track record of designing customer‑centric value propositions and driving growth.
