Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a strategic finance leader to head our Finance function in Karachi. The successful candidate will shape financial strategy, ensure compliance, and drive business growth through robust financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term financial strategies, forecasts and capital allocation plans.
• Lead budgeting processes and conduct detailed variance analysis.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, financial controls and risk‑mitigation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Lead, mentor and scale the Finance & Accounts team.
• Optimize month‑end and year‑end closing for timely, accurate reporting.
• Handle complex multi‑entity and multi‑currency consolidations.
• Support strategic decisions through CapEx planning, ROI analysis and financial insights.

Required profile

• 15‑25 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing or compliance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, reporting, taxation, compliance and audit management.
• Experience leading large finance teams and driving process improvements.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on execution approach.
