Head of HR & Compliance

About the role

Kay & Emms is seeking a strategic leader to head its Human Resources and Compliance functions. Reporting directly to senior management, you will ensure that HR practices align with business objectives while maintaining strict adherence to local and international labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee relations, performance management and talent acquisition.
• Ensure full compliance with labor laws, social compliance standards and industrial relations requirements.
• Lead compliance audits and address any findings promptly.
• Drive organizational change initiatives, workforce planning and succession strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that promotes productivity and employee well‑being.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of progressive HR and compliance experience, preferably in textile or manufacturing.
• Advanced degree (MS/MBA, BBA in HR, Law) or equivalent.
• Professional HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI, CIPD) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and social compliance standards.
