Head of Information Technology

About the role

The Head of IT will lead the overall technology strategy, governance, security, reliability and performance of the organization’s technology environment, overseeing infrastructure, software development, database management and other technology functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy and technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Lead IT infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, and database management ensuring high availability, reliability and optimal performance.
• Oversee software development, establish methodologies, SDLC frameworks and ensure timely delivery of applications.
• Lead the Software Quality Assurance function, establishing testing standards and automation where appropriate.
• Establish IT governance, risk management, compliance and support internal and external audits.
• Manage major IT and software development projects, including scope, timelines, budgets and change management.
• Mentor and develop IT, software development and SQA teams, setting KPIs and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Coordinate with business units to align technology initiatives with growth and regulatory requirements.
