Head of Operations

About the role

The Head of Operations will lead day‑to‑day business activities at Navaal Organic Food’s Karachi facility. Reporting to senior management, the role is responsible for overseeing supply‑chain functions, coordinating across departments and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
• Optimize processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Manage budgets, financial planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, motivate and develop cross‑functional teams.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee supply‑chain and logistics operations to maintain product quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Strong leadership, decision‑making and team‑management abilities.
• Experience in supply‑chain management, logistics and operational optimisation.
• Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on process improvements.
• Knowledge of the organic food industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Proven track record of at least X years in a senior operations role.
