Head of Umrah Operations

About the role

The Head of Umrah Operations will lead the end‑to‑end planning, coordination and delivery of Umrah travel services for Quantum Aviation. Based in Karachi, this full‑time position oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with airline and regulatory requirements, and drives a high‑quality experience for pilgrims and partner organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete Umrah value chain, including ticketing, ground packages, transport and group services.
• Onboard and supervise vendors such as hotels, ground handlers and transport providers in Makkah and Madinah.
• Design pricing, packaging and product offerings for individual pilgrims and groups.
• Oversee visa processing and regulatory compliance through platforms like Nusuk and the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah.
• Develop and optimise operational processes, monitor performance metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
• Control budgets, forecast demand and manage cost‑control initiatives.
• Handle escalations, support seasonal planning and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within aviation, travel, hospitality or religious tourism.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate performance data and support data‑driven decisions.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership skills in a high‑volume environment.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with clients, partners and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Karachi and manage dynamic, seasonal workloads.
