Health Facility Coordinator

About the role

The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P), part of the Aga Khan Development Network, is looking for an experienced Health Facility Coordinator in Astore, Pakistan, reporting to the District Coordinator. The role supports the health facility team in nutrition screening and immunization activities and coordinates with district partners to deliver integrated services.

Key responsibilities

• Support the health facility team, including LHVs and vaccinators, in nutrition screening and immunization activities.
• Build coordination with the district EPI and WHO/UNCEF team, project staff and the health facility team for integrated immunization and nutrition services.
• Support field teams in day-to-day activities and help them follow program protocols, with feedback and support.
• Support capacity-building and training for facility staff on program guidelines, data handling and integrated service delivery.
• Help collect and report immunization and nutrition data accurately and on time, and provide technical assistance with the digital application.
• Generate reports on immunization and nutrition indicators and conduct regular data quality checks.
• Ensure equipment, nutrition and medical supplies are available, properly stored and distributed, in coordination with the district coordinator and Nutrition and MCH Officer.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the program team.

Required profile

• Diploma in nursing, LHV or midwifery, or at least a bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related health field.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in data collection and reporting, health facility coordination, community health programs or social mobilization.
• Ability to work under pressure with pressing deadlines, and to be polite and respectful to patients, the community and authorities.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak and understand local languages.
• Legally eligible to work in Pakistan; no canvassing allowed.
