HR Coordinator

About the role

BrightSpyre is hiring an HR Coordinator in Islamabad. The role covers keeping personnel records up to date, supporting payroll, recruitment and placement, managing staff benefits within the grant budget, and coordinating with the Islamabad and Karachi offices on HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain personnel records in files and keep them current in the HRIS/HMIS system
• Prepare job analysis, job descriptions and specifications with department supervisors
• Follow up on timely payroll release with the relevant department while maintaining accuracy
• Evaluate and carry out recruitment and placement activities in line with policies and procedures
• Determine workforce needs, plan for required roles and follow up on vacant and new positions to avoid under-hiring
• Plan and develop orientation materials and ensure new employees are oriented on time
• Maintain monthly attendance records, leave records and EOBI management of staff according to SOPs
• Manage the staff benefits structure in line with the grant budget
• Coordinate with the Islamabad and Karachi teams on HR matters and prepare files for internal and external audits
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of total experience, including 2-3 years in a similar role
• Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and high pressure
• Proven verbal, written and communication skills; presentation skills preferred
• Proven report writing skills and decision-making with minimal guidance
